Where is my data stored?
All data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Nothing is sent to any server. Your data lives entirely in the app's container on your iPhone.
How do I back up my data?
FRO data is included in your standard iCloud or iTunes/Finder device backups. You can also export individual jobs or tools as .frojob / .frotool files to share or archive.
Can I transfer data to a new phone?
Yes. If you restore from a device backup (iCloud or Finder), your FRO data transfers automatically. You can also export and reimport using the app's built-in export feature.
Does FRO require an internet connection?
No. FRO works entirely offline. There are no network requests, no accounts, and no cloud sync. It works in hangars with zero connectivity.
Is FRO an official maintenance tracking system?
No. FRO is a personal reference tool. It captures your practical knowledge and experience but is not a substitute for official Technical Manuals, Work Cards, or approved maintenance procedures.
What iOS version does FRO require?
FRO requires iOS 17.0 or later.
