Privacy Policy

FRO does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
Everything stays on your device.

Data Collection

FRO collects no personal data whatsoever. Specifically:

No analytics or telemetry — FRO does not track how you use the app.
No crash reporting — FRO does not send crash logs to any server.
No advertising — FRO contains no ads and no ad-tracking SDKs.
No user accounts — FRO does not require sign-up, login, or registration.
No network requests during normal use — FRO does not initiate internet connections. An optional voice capture feature (off by default) may use Apple's on-device speech recognition, which in some configurations can contact Apple's servers. See the Microphone & Speech Recognition section below.

Data Storage

All data you create in FRO — jobs, tools, notes, photos — is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device database. This data is never uploaded to any server, never shared with any third party, and never accessible to the developer.

Camera Usage

FRO requests camera access solely to let you photograph tools and job references. Photos are stored locally on your device within the app's data container. They are never transmitted anywhere.

Microphone & Speech Recognition (Beta)

FRO includes an optional voice capture feature (off by default) that uses Apple's Speech framework to transcribe voice memos into job notes. When enabled by the user, speech recognition is performed using Apple's on-device processing. However, Apple's SFSpeechRecognizer may transmit audio data to Apple's servers depending on the device model, iOS version, and system settings. FRO does not control this behavior — it is determined by Apple's Speech framework. No audio or transcription data is sent to the FRO developer or any third party other than Apple.

You can enable or disable voice capture at any time in Settings. A warning is displayed when first enabling the feature.

Data Sharing

FRO shares data only when you explicitly choose to export it. Export features include:

Exporting job or tool records as .frojob or .frotool files
Generating PDF reports
Sharing via AirDrop, Files, or other system share targets

You control what you share and with whom. FRO never initiates any data transfer on its own.

Third-Party Services

FRO uses no third-party SDKs, services, or frameworks beyond Apple's standard iOS frameworks. There are no analytics providers, no crash reporters, no advertising networks, and no cloud services.

Children's Privacy

FRO does not collect any data from any user, including children under 13. The app is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL. Since FRO collects no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
